This is my first proper map, which I have made so please remember that I'm no expert! I made it using Cavedog's Map and Mission Editor which came bundled with Core Contingency.

Playing on this map can provide a very entertaining play. The games last a very long time (mine over 4 hours!) and can involve a variety of different strategies. There are alot of resources around with plenty of metal deposits on land and sea and also a few geothermal vents on each side. And to slow progression of attackers, there are rows of Fortification Walls and Floating Dragons Teeth with a small space in the middle to allow troops thouugh. This way you can protect it with defence like Annihilators and Senitals. The AI is set to Krogoth attack so be sure to put long range defence on the high plateaus on each end of the central passage. The passage is thick with trees and rocks, which will slow the attacker progress down while the long-range defence takes them out. It's best to mount Vulcans or Buzsaws on the highground at the end of the passage as these are very effective at stopping land attacks. But make sure you build a Target Locator very soon because without one your long range defence will be useless. The mainland is also surrounded with water, which can be used to mount ship attacks or just to defend and back up land attack squadrons on their way up through the secret passage on right. These are special natural harbours, which give loads of room to build up huge sea bases. If your playing Skirmish it's recommended to set it to hard mode, they build up more of a base but make sure you get Hawks soon before the air attackers take advantage of your defenceless base! And also use the secret passage wisely, it can prove a easy attack method, getting them from behind! The level is best for north vs. south team play, so the second player is your ally, while the third and fourth are allies on opposite islands. Oh, and if you are the first 2 players, you will be on the south island which is best as I built the level around that one for the human start location.

Have fun playing!
